Welcome to Raise The Steaks (“We”, “Us”, “Our”). These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Our online butchery shop and the provision of home delivery services. By accessing or using Our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility
By using Our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
2. Orders
2.1 Placing an Order
When placing an order on Our website, you will receive an email confirmation to acknowledge that We have received your order. However, this does not mean that your order has been accepted. We reserve the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch for any reason, including but not limited to product availability or errors in product description or pricing.
2.2 Order Acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders at Our sole discretion, particularly in cases where a product is unavailable or where fraud or unauthorised activity is suspected.
3. Product Information
3.1 Product Availability
Our products are subject to availability. In the event a product you ordered is not available, We will inform you as soon as possible and offer an alternative product or a refund.
3.2 Product Descriptions
We strive to provide accurate descriptions of Our products, including ingredients, allergens and cut details. However, due to the nature of meat, there may be slight variations in weight and appearance from what is displayed on the website.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing
All prices listed on Our website are in GBP and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Delivery charges are applied separately based on your location.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. By placing an order, you authorise Us to charge your provided payment method for the total amount of your order, including any delivery charges.
4.3 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. However, the price at the time of your order will apply.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery Area
We offer nationwide delivery across the UK, with some exceptions for certain Scottish Highland postcodes. Please check Our website or contact Us for details about restricted areas.
5.2 Delivery Times
Orders are dispatched for next-day delivery, with deliveries taking place on Thursdays. To ensure timely delivery, orders must be placed by 5pm on the Tuesday before your selected Thursday delivery date.
5.3 Delivery Charges
Delivery fees are charged as a flat rate based on the location:
- England & Wales: £12.95
- Scottish Midlands & Lowlands: £19.95
- Scottish Highlands: £24.95
- ULEZ zone: £1.25 additional charge on top of Flat Rate for England & Wales
5.4 Failed Delivery
If We are unable to complete a delivery due to incorrect information provided by you, or if no one is available to receive the package, We will leave the delivery at the address provided. You are responsible for notifying Us of any address changes as soon as possible, before dispatch. We cannot retrieve deliveries once they have been collected from Our premises.
6. Refunds and Returns
6.1 Perishable Goods
Due to the perishable nature of Our products, We do not accept returns. However, if there is an issue with the quality of your order, please contact Us within 48 hours of delivery for a resolution, which may include a replacement or refund.
6.2 Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order up until 5pm on the Tuesday before your selected Thursday delivery date. After this time, cancellations are not possible.
6.3 Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

6.4 What items qualify for a Refund
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are out of date, with proof of this given. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at mia.raisethesteaks@gmail.com.
To complete your refund/ replacement, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. You can find this in your account under the orders tab. In your refunds enquiry email, please include your order number and date of purchase.
7. User Responsibilities
By using Our website and services, you agree not to:
- Use Our website for any unlawful purpose;
- Engage in fraudulent activity, including providing false or misleading information;
- Disrupt the operation of Our website through harmful means, including viruses or malware.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Our services, including but not limited to loss of profits or damage to property.
9. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure in fulfilling orders due to circumstances beyond Our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or disruptions in delivery services.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on Our website, and your continued use of the service will signify your acceptance of the updated terms.
